AMPS stands for Armor Modeling Preservation Society. The yearly national show was held in Danbury,CT. I did not enter anything this year as I had to leave before the awards presentation. I am sorry for the crappy pictures. My digital camera had issues,so I had to use my iPhone camera.

Bad year to be a truck driver
Earlier today,on my Facebook feed,I found out the local comic book shop I go to when I am home is closing down Feb 25th. The owner has a full time job,and a family,so he was only open a few days a week. He usually had someone else working there. Until this past August,it was a young lady. But she left for college. Business was getting slower,and I guess it was hard to find someone to run the shop when he could not be there.
I guess I will have to get a mail type subscription for the titles I want.
Please support small,local business whenever you can. They are sadly fading away.

Dear reader.
Sadly,there are quite a lot of truck drivers here in the United States that lose their lives every year. Some are involved in a bad wreck,others are murdered,or some die of a hear attack,etc. For whatever reason(s),some trucking companies can not or will not send the deceased truck driver home and to their final resting place. It takes a lot of money to get them home.
There is a good charity trying to get started for this purpose.

This charity is recognized by the I.R.S. as being legit. For those who can spare some money,please help out. Maybe even spread the word about this.

Bad year to be a truck driver
September 11,2001.
September 11,2001.
I was at a truck stop in Westley,California eating breakfast. One of the waitresses came out and said there was a plane that crashed into the World Trade center in New York City. At first I had thought it had to be some sort of horrible accident. I then watched as a second plane crashed into the WTC. Twelve years have gone by since those terrorist attacks.
How has the world gotten any better since then?
There have been how many people killed since those attacks either by war,or more terrorist attacks? I believe in the Christian God. But yet,people are killed in the name of one god or another. I don't care if I get into trouble for saying this about the leaders of all the nations/countries of the world.
You want to go to war? Then put on a uniform,and lead from the front lines. Put yourself in harms way.
